Embroidery and aquarelle on photos

This summer I attended Honeyland Festival, on the danish island of Bornholm,to document the event as a photo artist . My idea was to make a series of collective memories inspired by the beautiful concept of co-creation that the festival is based on. I invited my fellow festival participants to contribute with a drawing or words to a common pool of expressions of their experiences. Through embroidery and painting I was interlacing all this material with my photos from the festival to create these collective memories.
